My Why? A Few Experiences
*Before age 30, I took on my very first role as an executive leader, in a new location, away from family, with 10 employees at a smaller site. My new manager was 400 miles away. I had no coach and no mentors; it was sink or swim.
*I was excited to interview and be selected for a new leadership role. This time it was a transfer and I did not have to move locations. The role was huge–twice as big as the role I was leaving. However, I did not know I would have to juggle 2 full-time leader positions at the same time for the next 6 months while they looked for my replacement.
*I worked in a corporate environment where restructures and reorganizations were the norm. Learning to adapt and help others manage change while retaining employee engagement and achieving company goals were foundational requirements.
The experiences above are 3 of 9 different leadership positions I have held. Each time I was able to build upon my leadership skills to impact the business and engage my teams. The methodologies I use for coaching incorporate years of education and training with real-world experience and learning. This is shared with leaders I coach to shortcut the time needed for them to make the significant adjustments to succeed in their roles. I provide clear guidance on these methods, which any leader can immediately apply, to ensure organizations meet their objectives. The results are effective, authentic leaders who forward your business goals.
